System Architect - BE

As a System Architect, you will serve as a pivotal technical leader and consultant, guiding multiple development teams within our organization. Your role will be essential in tackling complex challenges, leading the design of our TV platform products with a focus on TV advertising, facilitating the selection cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of our advanced cloud-based SaaS TV advertising solutions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and seamless integration with our existing cloud-based and on-premise solutions.

• Develop an expert understanding of the intricacies of the advertising ecosystem, particularly focusing on the complexities of TV advertising peak management.

• Define technical requirements, outline software product features, and contribute to shaping the company's strategic vision.

• Drive agile development cycles by implementing industry best practices and influencing critical technical decision-making processes.

• Demonstrate forward-thinking by envisioning the organization's future trajectory and identifying how technology can be harnessed to support these endeavors.

• Take on the responsibility of mentoring and coaching team members and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity such as software/system architect or team leader.

• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience.

• Strong expertise in software design, especially in the context of large-scale, cloud-based (preferably AWS), SaaS, Serverless, and Microservices architectures, along with a comprehensive understanding of DevOps processes. Hands-on experience is an added advantage.

• Proficiency and prior involvement in performance testing and tuning methodologies, tools, and processes, with a track record of effectively assessing and optimizing the performance of cloud-based software systems.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the advertising ecosystem. Prior experience in the TV industry is considered an advantage.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, as well as experience with RDBS (Oracle), serverless technologies (preferably AWS), and other microservices-related tools (such as SpringBoot, Kafka, Kubernetes).

• Excellent interpersonal communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Analytical approach to problem-solving, coupled with creative thinking abilities.

• A quick learner, highly energetic, and a team player.
