Director of Finance

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance. A strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting practices. This individual will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our organization through effective financial planning, insightful analysis, and robust accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of financial planning and analysis strategies to support organizational goals and provide financial insights.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and realistic financial plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage the external accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the month, quarter and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA is a must
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Director of finance, with a focus on FP&A and accounting
• Recent experience working in a dynamic environment / startup in rapid growth - must
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
