What is the job: The QA engineer will join the Alteon QA group and will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of Alteon testing and verification. Responsibilities include:

• Develop automation infrastructure and end-to-end tests in Python.
• Define, implement, execute, and document test plans and test cases to cover product features.
• Develop and execute functionality end-to-end tests, and reliability test plans and scripts.
• Reproduce customer problems in the laboratory.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree student in Computer Science or a related technical field of study, with a GPA of 85+ and at least 1 year until graduation.
• Basic background in networking and sniffers.
• Knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python).
• Knowledge of Layer 7 protocols – HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, etc
• Ability to execute and deliver results.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
