Are you an accomplished tech leader with a strong Linux background in software design? We're seeking a Tech Lead to spearhead our credit card authorization systems and infrastructure. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide guidance and strategic direction together with hands-on development responsibilities.

Shva, known as the central hub for debit and credit transactions in Israel, operates as the country's primary switch. Shva facilitates millions of daily transactions every day by connecting all acquires, issuers, banks, international schemas, and hundreds of thousands of businesses across Israel.

Responsibilities:

•  Lead the design of our credit card authorization systems and infrastructure

•  Assume a technical leadership role, guiding and mentoring a team of C++ developers

•  Drive software decisions, creation, optimization and enhancement of scalable and robust design

•  Conduct comprehensive code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards

•  Respond effectively to production problems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability

Requirements:

•  Extensive expertise in C++ development with a strong focus on software architecture and design

•  Experience in designing and working with complex systems in production, ensuring zero downtime

•  Expertise in Linux systems

•  Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams in technical capacities

•  Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices

•  Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Nice to Have:

•  Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python, Java

•  Prior involvement in architecting financial technologies
