About the Role:
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager with substantial experience and knowledge in data management. This role is perfect for someone who can understand and articulate the complexities of data systems, particularly in the context of Metadata Management. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the fast-paced, dynamic environment of a startup, capable of defining and tailoring Ideal Customer Profiles for various industries and data teams. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in communicating the technical sophistication of our products to data teams and the broader market.
Preference will be given to candidates who have previously held a position as a Product Data Manager, leveraging that experience to understand and address the specific needs and challenges of our target market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep understanding of our data management product, focusing on Data Lineage for Data Tech, Data Governance and Data Compliance teams.
- Craft targeted messaging and product positioning strategies for diverse data teams across various industries.
- Analyze and optimize the marketing strategies to improve the buyer’s journey, particularly for a technically savvy audience.
- Conduct hands-on market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Create product launches, sales enablement materials, and lead generation campaigns.
- Create technical marketing content such as case studies, videos, and blog posts, tailored to our data-centric products.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting our products' value to different data teams.
- Adapt marketing strategies to align with evolving market trends and customer feedback, maintaining the agility of a startup.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on data management.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have previously held a position as a Product Data Manager, leveraging that experience to understand and address the specific needs and challenges of our target market.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in startup environments and manage multiple projects.
- Proven experience in developing ICPs and marketing strategies for technical products.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Independent, proactive, and hands-on approach, embodying the startup DNA.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong technical background.
