As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring our products quality.

You will be joining RAD's family, on a small team located at Jerusalen site in Har Hahotzvim, and work with software development teams.

Responsibilities

The employee will be responsible for performing manual and automatic tests for data communication in Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.

The work includes:

• Development of test methods and test plans
• Performing manual tests
• Development and management of automated test scripts
• Report on test results
• Working with R&D team and other QA teams

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on manual and automatic testing for data communication in Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and OSI Model(seven layers that computer systems use to communicate over a network).
• Excellent Hands-on experience with ETHERNET protocol Layers 2 and 3.
• Excellent Hands-on experience with traffic generators – Spirent & IXIA.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering, computer science.
• Excellent experience working with the OSPF protocol(routing protocol for Internet Protocol networks)
• Experience working with manual testing tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump
• Knowledge with Linux – an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High level interpersonal communication.
