Frontend Developer

A startup company specializing in AI applications within the medical field. Their product enables the creation of more precise AI models that consistently operate across diverse patient populations, leading to broader adoption of advanced healthcare solutions.

The position involves leading the development of the company's flagship product in React.

Based in Tel Aviv near a train station, offering a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a vision for the FCP’s frontend and strategize its scalability in alignment with the company’s growth across various dimensions. Translate this vision into annual, quarterly, and sprint-level plans.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of frontend components from conceptualization through design, implementation, and deployment collaborating closely with Product, UX Design, and fellow engineers.
• Improve the scalability of our frontend codebase and the infrastructure supporting frontend development.
• Lead the current frontend team (currently comprising one part-time frontend engineer) and subsequently expand the team as needed.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in JavaScript web application development.
• 4 years of experience with React.
• Proficiency in CSS, CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind), and utilizing design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Familiarity with Next/Express or other server-side JS frameworks.
• Prior experience in product development within an early-stage startup.
• Bonus: Experience in developing web front ends for data analytics, MLOps, or AI products.
• Bonus: Previous leadership experience within engineering teams.
