Bookings Mobile QA Engineer- Student Position

Job Description

• Coordinate bug fixes and experience improvements with development teams to ensure stability and usability
• Help analyze and solve complicated support tickets and production incidents
• Manage and execute manual tests
• Keep engagement up with a high-speed development process (executing and adjusting your test plans accordingly)
• Measure and monitor the production app quality and push the development teams to fix the prioritized bugs
• Think like a Wix mobile user and ensure all scenarios are covered, manually and automatically
  
  

Qualifications:

• You’re a smart, creative and ambitious student with a passion for consumer-facing digital products and great customer service
• You have exceptional time management skills and can work at least 3 days a week, 80 hours a month (we’re flexible during exam periods)
• Your English is excellent
• You have a deep sense of responsibility, owning what you do to deliver high-quality products and support our end users
• You are an open-minded person with a growth mindset—you’re eager to learn new things and share your knowledge with peers
• You are a proactive problem-solver with great communication and collaboration skills
• Mobile app related knowledge would be an advantage
• Familiarity with development methodologies and tools or experience in the Software Quality Assurance (SW QA) sphere would be an advantage

As part of the Wix QA guild, we manage the quality of Wix products by reviewing and sharing our risk analysis while continually testing, automating, and monitoring our products on production. Our mission is to remove any barriers for millions of Wix users to create their dreams online. We balance quality and velocity by asking tough questions representing our users, keeping a cross-company perspective, and using state-of-the-art testing methodologies, tools, automation frameworks, and user data analysis.
