We are seeking a data team lead who will join the BI team. The position of a data team lead is to maintain data governance, hold the data road map, and keep the quality to the highest standard. Develop the career path of the analysts on the team and maintain the well oiled processes to keep creating value out of data.

You will manage a team of data analysts, control & prioritize the pipeline of tasks relevant to the team according to the business needs.

You will:

• Manage the tasks and prioritization based on the agile methodology
• Manage, develop and mentor your data engineering team to fulfill their potential and grow the next generation of data leaders
• Drive and develop the data culture in the organization
• Solve challenging data problems and utilize cutting edge data technologies to gain business advantages
• Coordinate with developers leaders, product managers, data analysts and business leaders.
• Design, develop and support dashboards, information systems databases, and reporting tools for operational and business needs (around 40% hands-on)
• Own and manage multiple data initiatives and projects both on an ongoing and an ad-hoc basis while using new approaches of data analytics

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analytics Team Leader.
• At least 2 years experience working as a Data Analyst.
• Both excellent analytical & communication skills with experience of working on complex data projects through the full project lifecycle.
• B.Sc. in Industry & Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Manage multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional ability to understand data and to transform it into insights.
• Strong sense of problem-solving, conflicts management, leadership, responsibility, accountability and professionalism.
• Working in a dynamic global high paced environment (working closely with teams in Seattle, includes traveling and working on global hours when needed).

Nice to have:

• Experience working in the fintech industry and understanding of banking and monetary processes.
• Experience working with Looker an lookML is a big advantage
• Experience using statistical packages for analysis- Advantage
