Engineering, Team Lead (Full-Stack)

FinOps is a new operating model for the cloud and Corporate IT Governance, bringing financial accountability to cloud spending. At Finout, we’ve built the platform to power this new operating model.

Finout is looking for a highly motivated Engineering, Team Lead to join our outstanding engineering organization in building and maintaining our platform. The position reports directly to the VP Engineering and has a significant impact on the company’s success.

If you’re looking for a big challenge in a fast moving promising startup, that’s the next job for you. You’ll work closely with the CPO, the CTO, and the application architect while managing a team of senior full-stack engineers. You must have extensive React and NodeJS experience with a practical approach to software development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 4 experienced engineers responsible for finout end-user application
• Technical leadership and design of application features in collaboration with the application architect and the team
• Plan and track work using SCRUM methodology
• Collaborate with product management regarding new features and enhancements
• Lead by example and drive your team to continuously enhance and improve our application.
• Coach, mentor and grow individuals in the team to reach their full potential
• Maintain and improve system performance and quality
• Push for technical excellence and reduce technical debt while balancing product and business requirements.
  
  

• An experienced team leader (+4 years managing people) with a hands-on approach
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Must be an expert in NodeJS and React
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experienced with large-scale, SAAS applications
• Holding a degree in computer science or similar (preferred).
• Most importantly, a person who enjoys motivating, guiding and growing people.
