Backend Group Manager

The position:

As the Backend Group Manager at Evinced, you will be responsible for leading the Backend and infrastructure engineering teams, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, cutting-edge technology solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a group of backend team leaders and engineers in charge of all aspects of Evinced backend and infra, including mentoring, training, and task assignment.
• Lead the architecture, design and technology choices to ensure best in class products.
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of business needs with high-quality standards.
• Recruit, build, and develop the engineering team, including coaching and mentoring team leaders and engineers and cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence.
• Closely collaborating with Product Management, Research, Development and Support teams locally and globally.
  
  

Requirements:

Your Knowledge and Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience leading R&D Backend or full-stack groups and managing managers in both large companies and startups.
• Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, and design.
• Experience with modern microservice architecture, knowledge of SAAS development, production management and operations.
• Experience developing in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills both in English and Hebrew.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  
  

This position will be based in our Tel Aviv office, located 5- minute' walk from Hashalom train station. We also have our own parking lot.We work in a hybrid mode, with flexible working hours.
