About the position

To support the team, we would like to hire a multi-tasking, super energetic, and very responsible People and Culture person to support our recruitment, help us build a happy organization, and set up the foundation for the organization's culture and DNA.

The P&C Leader will report to the Group Chief People Officer, who is also responsible for our technology hub. The new team member will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and support to the business in staffing, employment, employee relations, performance management, learning and career development, and interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives. As well as the company culture and DNA, values, and lead the company to become a leading employer in the industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, promote, and advocate an understanding of and commitment to the company's culture, vision, and values, and oversee the implementation of it in day-to-day culture
• Implement and administer company-wide HR initiatives and programs. Advise about questions or concerns on policy, practice, procedure, and other HR matters
• Collaborate with hiring leaders to evaluate staffing team needs and onboard top talent
• Partner with leaders and team members to improve work relationships, build engagement, and increase productivity and retention. Provide support in the areas of employee relations
• Coach leaders and team members in effectively applying the performance review process to ensure optimum performance, development, and alignment with business needs
• Oversee and manage with the assistance of the HR Coordinator payroll and benefits such as group health, welfare, and pension plans, including enrolments, changes, and terminations monthly invoicing, reporting, and reconciliation; annual testing, audits, and compliance; responding to team member inquiries and working with carriers to resolve issues
• Leverage knowledge of employment law requirements related to day-to-day team management to reduce risk and ensure compliance

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and two or more years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

• In-depth understanding and experience of employment law and employee relations best practices
• A high level of English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is mandatory
• French is an advantage
