Role Description

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team specializing in AI. The role involves implementing processes to manage system information within our central database.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage organizational information within the Elbit DAITA central database application.
• Define and structure database objects in collaboration with domain and systems experts.
• Develop ETL processes to convert raw data into databases within DAITA.
• Create datasets for machine learning training.
• Develop labeling tools.
• Serve as the organizational knowledge source for DAITA and a point of contact for product developers.
• Develop infrastructure to streamline and standardize AI development.
• Create testing and analysis tools to manage the company’s AI cluster.
•  Integrate into various AI development activities, such as deep network compression and quantization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer - Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• High proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with the ability to plan complex infrastructure code.
• Previous experience in data engineering and familiarity with common databases like SQL, SPARK, and Elastic.
• Fast independent learning ability, especially with open databases.
• Ability to work independently while supporting and transferring knowledge to team members.

 Preferred:

• Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• DevOps capabilities.
