Job Description

Palo Alto Networks's Prisma Cloud team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished engineering manager with experience in Cloud Native technologies and Enterprise Security products.

You will be leading a team of talented engineers developing Prisma Cloud WAAS (Web Application and API Security).

You will be expected to lead the development and architecture of the product and key features, collaborate with management, Product managers and architects from other organizations in Prisma, building a unified product experience for our customers.

• Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
• Lead an engineering excellence mindset within the team and mentor developers on all levels of experience toward excellency
• Collaborate with the engineering team to drive key design decisions, Work closely with your team members through the entire development cycle (requirements, design, implementation)
• Partner with product management to define product requirements and influence overall product direction
• Strong executive presence and ability to champion ideas and initiatives
• Evangelize the product vision internally and externally. Be able to represent the company, product, and team at all levels
  
  

Qualifications

Your Experience

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years as a manager
• Experienced on large-scale production systems with experience in Solution Design and Software Architecture
• Experience in building and managing cloud-based SaaS applications
• Deep understanding and experience with cloud-native and SaaS technologies like Kubernetes, APM tools, message queues, API-GWs, terraform, CICD pipelines etc
• Experience with at least one language: Go / Java Spring Boot -
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
