About the Project:

KPMG is undergoing a Global Operations Transformation, and SAP was chosen as the globally recommended standard. The objective is to develop a single global blueprint solution based on the S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services Industry Solution and align to the Global Strategy 3.0 to standardize and reduce operational complexity.

With this programme, KPMG has a unique opportunity to adopt a cloud mindset and create streamlined core business processes which are consistent with good practice across the Member Firms and Clusters, while delivering business benefits and supporting market growth. Whilst size and complexity of the firms will affect the scope and deployment approach, and local regulations will call for configuration differences, the main objective remains to minimize customizations and align to the Global Strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the solution and and integration architecture design, working closely with and acting as the key interconnect between Solution Development and Technical teams
• Play a key role in design workshops, from understanding the standard solution(s), end to end data flows, and key integration scenarios
• Ensure functional specifications and their implications are understood and appropriately passed onto to Technical build teams in a timely manner
• Provide a critical eye to design proposals from functional teams in order to drive optimization, reduce complexity and minimize ongoing maintenance
• Formulate and propose design decisions, representing them at design authority boards when required
• Support technical software development teams, offering SAP solution advice throughout the project's lifecycle
• Work with regional and local teams in the adoption of the globally recommended solution and integration design. Support them with any additional locally driven requirements definition, detailed design, build and implementation
• Work with and collaborate with related transformation teams e.g. Front Office Transformation, Global Risk, HR and Resource Management
• Ensure that project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Monitor delivery and tasks and report on progress in project governance
• Manage key relationships and ongoing collaboration with SAP team and other third-parties
• Drive continuous evolution of the solution ensuring alignment with the evolving nature of cloud solutions.
  
  

• Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ideally the Public Cloud variant, along with other SAP solutions - mandatory
• Specialized S/4HANA functional expertise in one or more business domains like Finance, Sales, Professional Services, HR - mandatory
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification and hands-on experience – mandatory
• Ability to maintain rapport with and represent both the business and technical teams views
• The capability to lead and emerge as the primary resource for all design-related discussions
• Ability to maintain a holistic view of the end-to-end architecture, amalgamating inputs from both SAP and non-SAP functional teams
• A comprehensive yet balanced grip on IT capabilities, methodologies, and technologies – particularly a hands-on experience with Agile development
• Familiarity with Business Technology Platform services, such as CPI and an understanding of APIs
• Deep understanding of Agile concept of Project Delivery - SAP Activate Project Management methodology is desired
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
