Data Security Researcher

Sentra is on a mission to enable cloud-driven organizations to regain control and secure their data. We are a young, fast-growing start-up company located in Tel Aviv (near a train station) with a very strong founding team. We are looking to hire a Data Security Researcher to our team, to work closely with our talented Product and R&D team on a journey to solve exciting and challenging problems and promote Sentra to cloud-based companies across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Build detections and tools to protect customers from cloud data threats
• Investigate attacks on cloud data stores
• Work together with the Product and R&D team to transform research insights into product features
• Create security policies based on research findings and best practices
• Publish public-facing resources (such as blog posts) based on security insights and your research
  
  

• 4+ years of experience in security and threat research in which you led deep research with actionable conclusions
• Knowledge of databases and cloud storage services
• Familiarity with IAM, encryption, security controls, Kubernetes, and the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience in delivering security detections for product
• Be self-learner and goal-oriented, and ability to lead independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with notable threat actors and threat intelligence analysis - an advantage
• Incident response, threat hunting, or red team experience - an advantage
