QA Automation Team Lead

Pontera is looking for a talented Team Lead for our QA Automation field. Your part will include the leadership of a new automation infrastructure project collaborating with different departments in the R&D, building a high-performing QA automation team, designing and implementing several layers of testing solutions and promote quality standards and practices across our product.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pontera's new automation infrastructure - Python and Playwright
• Recruit new team members and create a training program.
• Plan and develop automation tests for new products/features/processes with Python and Playwright
• Define and maintain coding standards for automation scripts
• Implement and improve QA processes and methodologies
• Execute automation tests for version approval and report statuses to the R&D team
  
  

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Information systems or a professional QA Automation course
• Experience with Python
• At least two years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• At least one year of experience as a team lead
• Excellent technical skills, including design, coding, and problem-solving
• Familiarity with Playwright / Selenium / Puppeteer
• Understanding of QA methodologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to take full responsibility and ownership and carry out tasks end-to-end
• Knowledge in JavaScript - An advantage
• Experience in QA automation tools - An advantage
• Experience in UI tests- An advantage
