Director of Finance

Our Finance team is expanding, and we are looking for a driven and passionate Director of Finance to join our team. As the Director of Finance, you will help build and manage the Company’s financial operations and play a crucial role in driving the Company's financial success. This is a hands-on role where you will be key to all financial procedures and provide insight to enhance and improve processes and support decision-making. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage and help build the Company’s finance team, including team building and development, mentoring, training, and prioritizing tasks.
• Oversee the day-to-day finance operations including financial reporting, bookkeeping, payroll, treasury, and tax compliance.
• Maintain full ownership of the Company’s financial reporting, including timely and detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Serve as a key finance focal point and manage the relationship with advisors, auditors, financial business partners, and external suppliers overseas.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and other members of the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Work closely with revenue teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606), and help define and maintain policies and processes related to data flows and integration, billings and collections.
• Establish streamlined expense management and approval processes.
• Implement and improve financial and accounting systems, tools, and processes to ensure reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial management and accounting to ensure compliance with required financial policies and procedures.
  
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in significant financial roles (such as Director of Finance or a similar position), preferably in a high-growth tech company.
• Managerial and leadership experience - a must
• CPA with Big4 experience - a significant advantage
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience in SaaS companies, preferable B2C and B2B – a significant advantage
• Strong financial acumen and expertise in financial reporting, as well as an understanding of tax matters and considerations
• Ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment, prioritizing between different tasks and needs
• Great problem-solving skills with a hands-on proactive approach
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems, particularly Priority and NetSuite (past experience in system implementation - an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
