About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Accounting to lead and scale the company's Finance & Accounting operations.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director will own the day-to-day finance organization and manage the Controller, Assistant Controller, and Bookkeeper. The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best-in-class financial processes, reporting, controls, and governance.

This is a highly operational and hands-on leadership position, ideal for a finance professional who enjoys building teams, improving processes, implementing scalable infrastructure, and bringing structure to a fast-growing organization.

The role will work closely with the CFO, FP&A, Legal, Operations, Product, and external advisors, serving as a key partner in ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Finance & Accounting team, including Controller, Assistant Controller, and Bookkeeper.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting.
• Oversee financial statements, treasury, cash management, and working capital.
• Build and continuously improve scalable accounting processes, policies, internal controls, and governance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and Israeli accounting, tax, payroll, statutory, and sales tax requirements.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, payment providers, and other external partners.
• Partner closely with FP&A to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business planning.
• Support fundraising activities, lender reporting, due diligence, and financial aspects of business transactions.
• Lead and support ERP/system implementations, process automation, and operational improvements.
• Drive efficiency, standardization, and scalability across the Finance organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or Finance Operations.
• CPA qualification from a Big Four accounting firm – required.
• Proven experience managing and developing accounting/finance teams.
• Strong experience building and scaling finance and accounting functions in growing organizations.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, month-end close, internal controls, and multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Israeli tax compliance.
• Hands-on, business-oriented leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or other high-volume digital businesses – a significant advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills – required.
• Experience with ERP and BI systems – strong advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment.
