Description:

Development of a sophisticated medical system designed to address cardiac arrhythmias across all levels of severity. The product stands at the forefront of technology, encompassing the sampling of biological signals from the heart at ultra-low murmur thresholds, along with a system for precisely navigating electrical catheters within the body. The position includes the development of FPGA’s and SOC’s as part of the FPGA and signal processing development team in the Hardware department.

This team oversees all aspects of FPGA development, including requirements, architecture, verification, and implementation, until the release of the product in a high-technology multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a knowledge center for FPGA/SOC design and development.
• Lead FPGA/SOC architecture design activities.
• Design high-performance signal processing blocks based on algorithmic definitions.
• Design, implement, and verify FPGA blocks for control and real-time medical systems.
• Lead FPGA integration and debugging processes.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance our products.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years or more of practical experience as an FPGA design engineer - mandatory.
• Proficiency in Verilog RTL language, System Verilog, or VHDL.
• Proficient in FPGA technologies, simulation, implementation tools, design processes, and methodology (synthesis, place and route, timing constraints, and timing closure).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and technical writing ability.
• Self-motivated and accountable.
• Verification experience - an advantage.
• Experience in the medical device industry - an advantage.
