Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on R&D Manager who is a team player, a strategic thinker, multidisciplinary, project-oriented, with a 'can-do' approach, to join us at an important technological decision-making point—reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with internal peers (product, operations, domain experts, executive team) and external parties. You will define the R&D strategy and methodologies, plan & execute the company’s product development roadmap, build effective R&D teams in lieu of the strategy, lead multidisciplinary technological projects, and optimize the work processes.

We seek a driven individual with great development skills and excellent interpersonal communication for our growing R&D team. In our vision, we see the R&D manager of the company taking the R&D teams and product solutions to the next level, including infrastructure upgrades & integrations, product development, executing new features, team building, and hands-on code writing. You will be managing multi-disciplinary teams, from QA to AI Engineers, and dealing with new technologies like Chat GPT.

Responsibilities

• You will be a core part of the rise leadership teams.
• You will be responsible for defining R&D execution strategy, and methodologies, optimizing work process and efficiency, with direct responsibility for R&D objectives and KPIs.
• Take ownership and responsibility for features, systems, and end-to-end processes.
• You will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions on tight schedules and inadequate budgets.
• You will deliver high-quality software projects on time, including testable, modular, scalable, and reusable code, test cases, and documentation.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through our product development, design, and implementation.
• Lead our engineering team in a fast-paced, Agile environment to support our rapidly evolving business.
• You will design solutions, evaluate architecture options, set technical direction, uphold quality standards, and experience building complex, real-time, sustainable data/analytics processes, based on cloud environments.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the development of new products and technologies, ensuring that they are innovative, high-quality, and meet customer needs.
• Overall, your role as an R&D manager will be critical to the success of the company, as you will be responsible for driving innovation, upgrading products and technologies, and ensuring that the company remains competitive in its industry.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a software development role.
• 3+ years of leading software development teams.
• HO experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, MongoDB, API
• Proven experience with architecting, designing, and leading rock-solid and complex systems.
• Experience with Agile and Lean product development methodologies.
• Ability to deliver in a multi-product, multi-project, heterogenous environment under tight schedules and given budget.
• Great interpersonal communication and capability to understand the big picture.
• B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent.
