Director of Technical Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Technical Operations who brings a blend of technological insight and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing complex projects, driving operational efficiency in the tech or smart mobility industry, and leading a diverse team of professionals. This role requires a leader who can navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry, contribute to the strategic growth of the company, and consistently improve product performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the company operations team, including Field Service Engineering, IT, Procurement, Logistics, and other Operational functions.
• Execute major projects, such as office relocations, international exhibitions, supply chain optimization, and system integration, while maintaining quality, budget, and timelines and ensuring they align with company goals.
• Drive operational strategies to achieve ambitious OKRs, focusing on business growth, R&D efficiency, and continuous product improvement.
• Foster collaboration with partners and lead strategic hardware vendors, resulting in cost reduction and enhanced performance.
• Manage employees responsible for office and welfare management, ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
• Oversee logistics procurement, optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Efficiently manage and implement departmental budgets and operational plans.
• Create, implement, and maintain cross-departmental operational policies to increase efficiency and safety in processes and systems.
• Be part of the company's leadership team and play a pivotal role in guiding the overall strategic direction of the organization.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in an operations leadership position in a startup, ideally in technology or smart mobility sectors.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management, budget management, and successful execution of complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree required; a B.Sc. in engineering is preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in deploying and integrating hardware and software systems.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• In-depth knowledge of operational strategies, budget management, and process improvement.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
