We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and transform the company's operational excellence initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, focusing on customer experience enhancement, AI implementation, and international business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support Leadership
- Lead and develop the customer support department, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize support operations - Establish KPIs and performance metrics for the support team - Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and response times
Strategic Operations Management
- Spearhead the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with company goals
- Drive innovation initiatives across all operational areas
- Manage complex projects from conception to completion
- Oversee inventory planning and optimization
- Lead R&D transition projects and ensure smooth implementation
International Business Development
- Manage and expand partnerships in the Netherlands market - Develop and maintain relationships with key international stakeholders - Ensure compliance with international regulations and standards
Innovation & Technology
- Lead the implementation of AI solutions and automation initiatives - Identify and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency - Drive digital transformation projects across the organization
Compliance & Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare and medical regulations - Develop and maintain quality management systems
- Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or related field and 2 years in management
- Proven track record in customer support management
- Experience with AI implementation and digital transformation projects
- Strong background in project management and strategy execution
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in international business operations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Experience in healthcare or medical device industry
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in business
- International business experience, particularly in European markets
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)
