Penetration Tester

Sikreta is seeking a skilled junior penetration tester to join our team in an entry-level position based on their personal experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive penetration tests, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations to improve security posture. The ideal candidate must have experience in web application security and infrastructure, be highly motivated, and have a good command of industry best practices such as OWASP TOP10.

The candidate must hold a valid one of the following: OSWE / OSCP / OSEP / CCSP / CRTE / CRTP or CRTO or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web applications, networks, and other systems
• Perform manual and automated testing in various engagements such as internal/external networks, web applications, and mobile and cloud environments
• Develop custom scripts and tools to automate testing processes
• Identify security weaknesses and provide recommendations to improve security posture
• Guide clients on the mitigations of vulnerabilities
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
• Collaborate with the team to improve internal processes and methodologies

Qualifications

• OSWE / OSCP / OSEP / CCSP / CRTE / CRTP or CRTO certification or equivalent – A must
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in penetration testing from HTB, Offsec Playground, or CTFs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field – An Advantage
• Familiarity with web application security and infrastructure testing
• Knowledge of OWASP and other industry best practices (i.e., CIS, NIST)
• Ability to develop in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, C/C++, or Bash – An Advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
