Product Manager

Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) is a global leader in biomedical imaging with a comprehensive product portfolio for Karyotyping, H&E, IHC and FISH analysis; providing Pathology, Cytogenetics and Research laboratories advanced imaging and analysis tools.

We are looking for a motivated and talented  

Product Manager

Job Responsibilities:

·      Ownership of product lifecycle and performance

·      Identifying potential product opportunities

·      Generating product requirements and specifications

·      Maintaining feature backlog and managing prioritization

·      Conducting market research

Job Duties:

·      Be a focal point for ASI’s current product line

·      Meet goals, competitive business expectations and mitigate cost

·      Coordinate design decisions with R&D team

·      Provide product input and recommendations including feature, pricing, scheduling and companion product ideas to help differentiate ASI products and maintain competitive edge

·      Gather insights from the field in order to align the product development with industry needs

·      Assess and analyze market and competition by comparing ASI's products to competitors' products

·     Work closely with cross functional and global team members and maintain communication

·     Translate product specifications into benefits and cost effective gains, including clinical applications     

·      Pursue product line extensions, labeling revisions, evidence generation and any other activities which would ultimately build the value of the product line and maximize product line earnings

·      Communicate progress to business team and inform team of any “out of bounds” conditions

·      Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and disseminate knowledge accordingly

Desired Skills & Experience:

·      B.Sc Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology/Computer Science

·      MBA - advantage

·      Minimum 3 years experience in Product management

·      Experience in medical device industry - significant advantage

·      Experience in the software development processes - advantage

·      Experience in imaging systems - advantage

·      Fluent in English - written and spoken

·      Acquainted with project management tool for agile teams

·      Ability to travel aboard

·      Strong presentation skills

·      Strong interpersonal skills

 ·   Curious, self motivated, performance oriented
