We are building our marketing engine and we need you to build one of the fundamental pieces of it! One of our top goals is getting more leads, and we see digital marketing as one of the core drivers to accomplish this goal.
In this role, you will own our digital demand generation strategy and execution as (initially) a team of one. As a young startup, we expect every role (including this one) to be strategic and hands-on at the same time, so make sure you enjoy that! Like with all startups, we expect a lot of growth opportunities down the road, but we need to focus on the task at hand and do an excellent job at that first.
You’ll work directly with the company executives. If generating inbound leads, building & and optimizing nurture streams, and building marketing-generated pipelines using HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and digital events is your thing, this might be the opportunity you’re looking for!
Roles & responsibilities:
- You will develop multi-touch campaigns that utilize relevant channels to engage with and nurture conversations with target accounts; working closely with our sales teams to ensure successful follow-up and conversion that supports revenue targets for new client acquisition.
- Identifying and nurturing buyer intent will be an important part of your responsibilities.
- You will partner with the sales team to develop campaign plans for target segments and build effective content streams and talk tracks for each stage of the buying journey.
- You will be measured on OKRs associated with generating awareness, prospect engagement and qualified leads delivered, with an eye on healthy conversion rates to new wins.
What you’ll do
- 80% tactical execution, 10% strategic thinking, 10% collaboration with other teams. If spending time on PPC and data platforms is not your jam, this role may not be for you.
- Live and breathe data every day. Identify patterns in our website traffic, campaign results, user sessions, user behavior.
- Setting targets against campaign activity and ensuring these are hit (such as # Marketing Qualified Leads / Meetings / Opportunities / Sales).
- Analyze and report on campaign success. Implement A/B test plans, measure results and optimize campaigns, and nurture workflows to maximize conversion rates.
- Develop focused plans for target segments and accounts, collaborating closely with SDRs and Sales to engage, nurture and covert.
- Co-own the planning and execution of a digital-first events strategy (virtual and physical) to raise awareness of Lightlytics’s solutions and generate qualified leads. You will own the digital aspects, where a team member will own the physical events.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a lead generation-focused marketing role, specifically PPC, performance marketing, marketing analytics and growth optimization.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on experience and hands-on execution capabilities.
- Experience in Cloud Security/ DevOps/ DevTools industry preferred.
- Proven track record in delivering successful multi-channel campaigns in a corporate or agency environment focusing on Cloud or SaaS technologies.
- Experience supporting international sales teams.
- A data-driven approach is a must; experience with segmentation and targeting; and experience with HubSpot and Google Analytics for analyzing campaign success.
- Ability to build proactive cross-functional relationships; manage stakeholders and strong project management skills.
- Experience with successful inbound marketing operations and product-led growth marketing funnels.
- Experience with webinar and event platforms (Zoom, Hopin, and others).
