Sales Team Lead

A prominent player in the heart of the industry specializing in importing and manufacturing advertising and sales promotion products for major players in the economy is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Sales Team lead. This key position involves direct oversight of the sales team, reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a team of 7 sales and back-office employees.
• Taking charge of all sales operations, ensuring the team meets and exceeds set targets.
• Implementing and monitoring sales metrics to drive performance improvement.
• Actively involved in recruiting new customers while fostering growth from existing clientele.
• Serving as a go-to resource for the sales team, encouraging creative solutions to overcome operational and sales challenges.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years managing a B2B sales team.
• Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience.
• Proven experience in negotiating with large business clients.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting new customers and increasing sales from existing accounts.
• Strong leadership skills with a lead-by-example mentality.
• Creativity, assertiveness, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to put in hard and strenuous work to achieve set goals.
• High emotional intelligence and fast learning ability.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and manage risks effectively.
• Previous experience in sales within production companies is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills is essential.
