Summary of role and team::

You will be a part of a team that explores innovative means to improve the company’s cell lines’ performance. You will draw useful information from large biological data sets that will be used to plan and execute biological experiments.

Your day-to-day:

• Analysis of genomic data to answer biological questions and plan studies for developing new cell lines.
• Cell culture lab work: seeding and passaging cell cultures, cell counting, metabolite analysis.
• Analysis of biological data sets to produce meaningful and relevant biological connections.
• Use molecular biology techniques to answer biological questions.
• You will collaborate with scientists from different divisions within the company.
• Results analysis, documentation, and presentation according to project goals and timeline.
• The job is 80% bench work and 20% bioinformatic work.
  
  

• MSc in Life Sciences or BSc in Life Sciences with 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in data science/bioinformatics focusing on analyzing NGS data (RNA-seq and whole genome).
• Work on a wide range of data sets from various species.
• Experience with tissue/cell culture and aseptic techniques.
• Well organized, meticulous, and able to keep accurate records with maximum attention to detail.
• Ability to handle repetitive and routine work.
• Passion and a good team working attitude, independent thinking, great interpersonal relationships.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  
  

• Experience in CRISPR genome editing, transfections, stable line generation, DNA and RNA preparation.
• Knowledge in Python and/or R studio and/or MATLAB.
• Knowledge of metabolic pathways/ cancer metabolism
• Other cell analytical techniques such as staining methods, microscopy, FACS, etc.
• Knowledge in developmental biology & differentiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work experience in a global, food, or startup company.
