Director Operational Excellence

A well-established and highly regarded food company is seeking to hire a Director of Operational Excellence for a factory located in the southern region.

As the Director of Operational Excellence, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's operations and overall success. This position is both challenging and rewarding, allowing you to showcase your leadership skills and drive the factory toward achieving its goals.

Responsibilities:

• Membership in factory management.

• Leading the operational excellence unit to enhance plant performance.

• Serving as a professional authority to lead, assimilate, and manage knowledge in the field of operational excellence.

• Providing training, guidance, and skill development for managers and employees to improve performance in areas such as production, service, safety, and quality.

• Facilitating interfaces and integrating them into the process while addressing objections, strengthening connections, and enhancing capacity while empowering and collaborating.

• Incorporating the language of operational excellence and communicating achievements and successes in this endeavor.

• Taking responsibility for initiatives and process improvements in the factory.

• Developing standards and establishing control mechanisms.

• Conducting training on tools related to operational excellence.

• Monitoring the production lines and other processes.

• Defining manpower and machine standards for each product.

• Establishing mechanisms for recognition and appreciation.

• Promoting excellence both within and outside the organization.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an excellence leader or unit manager in the food and beverage industry - mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management - mandatory.

• A master's degree - an advantage.

• Proficiency in Office software, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint - mandatory.

• Experience in matrix management and project management.

• Experience in leading change, managing, and implementing the LEAN methodology - an advantage.
