Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and be familiar with trends and messaging in the market
- Own the creation and delivery of competitive analysis
- Working with sales and customer success, identify product gaps then work with the product management team to articulate requirements that will ensure the success of the product in the market
- Develop a competitive pricing strategy that captures our unique features and differentiators
- Create impactful messaging that engages prospects and communicates a compelling value proposition
- Partner with demand generation to support promotional and demand generation campaigns with impactful messaging
- Deliver product launches to technical and non-technical audiences
- Create product content that can be leveraged by the sales team, such as white papers, videos, blog posts, demos, webinars/theater presentations
- Provide quarterly metrics on product marketing activities
- Manage industry analyst relationships
- Help with sales education/training
Requirements
- 3+ years working in relevant positions in the Cyber Security industry - must
- 6+ years of experience in product management \ product marketing \ technical GTM roles
- At least 2 years as a Product Marketing Manager in the Cyber security \ networking fields at a Startup
- Technical background in software, networking, and cybersecurity domains - tech-savvy
- Excellent storytelling skills, to win credibility and mind share from internal and external stakeholders
- Strong English and grammar skills - native level is a must.
- Proficiency in writing content, white papers, and case studies
- Experience developing compelling customer-facing messaging, content, and sales collateral
- Demo technical products across a wide array of audiences, from partners to sales and customers
- Experience supporting channel and partner marketing messaging
- Experience performing market research and building a competitive analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience in crafting successful content strategies (i.e. planning, strategy, execution, and distribution) throughout the entire buyer journey
- Ability to jump in and create something from the ground up with limited supervision
- A flexible, creative, and independent mindset
