Your Career

We are looking for a motivated, system QA engineer to join the Cortex XSOAR system QA team in our Tel Aviv R&D center. As our QA engineer, you will play a role of setting up XSOAR’s system and regressions tests suites, enhancing them with every release and executing them for different releases. In this role, you will work closely with the developers, product managers, other QA engineers, and also be in charge of maintaining appropriate test labs for smooth test execution.

You need to have a passion for improving the overall quality of the product you test. All this in a fast pace process of development, test, and release. Cortex XSOAR is a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response family of products that were formerly developed by Demisto (acquired in 2019). XSOAR is a comprehensive Security Operations Platform that combines full case management, intelligent automation, and collaborative investigation. Our teams focus on innovating the most advanced SOAR platform, on adding more integrations to 3rd party products, covering more use cases and more automations as well as expanding the threat intelligence capabilities of XSOAR. Your Impact

Test Our Cloud And On-prem Services, Which Includes

• Joining and helping in building a new system QA team and shaping the processes of its activities
• Participating in system and regression test definition and execution within the system team
• Working closely with development engineers and product management
• Collaborating with functional QA engineers to enhance regression tests suites, prioritize and decide on automation coverage
• Executing QA cycles on a tight release schedule
• Learning about security solutions and technologies
• Integration with GCP Cloud Computing
• Integration with other Palo Alto Networks cloud services
• Debugging failures in complex environments
  
  

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 4+ years of software testing experience
• Experience writing testing documents (STDs/ATPs) and knowledge of various testing methodologies
• Experience with both frontend and backend testing of both cloud-based and on-prem services
• Self-learner and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies in a relatively short time
• Knowledge of a scripting or a programming language
• Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience– an advantage
• Experience working with Linux based environments - an advantage
• Experience in test automation – an advantage
• Security background in general and security programs knowledge in particular – an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English
• The candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor
