Engineering Manager

UVeye is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the NPI and production of our company's products.

As our Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Mechanical, Electronics, Configuration Control, and application engineers, providing technical guidance, ensuring project timelines are met, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Oversee our company's products' development, NPI, and production, ensuring that all processes meet industry standards and best practices.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers working on multidisciplinary systems, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks, and performance management.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our product development process.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure that all product development and production processes are aligned and optimized.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all product components meet our quality and performance standards.
• Manage and prioritize engineering team workload, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet project timelines and business goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging engineers to experiment and explore new technologies and approaches to problem-solving

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on multidisciplinary systems, NPI, and production - Must
• Experience in Quality management - advantage
• Strong technical background, with expertise in one or more engineering disciplines.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and vendors
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for product development, NPI, and production.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds and disciplines.
