QA Platform Guild Leader

About the position

As QA Platform Guild Leader, you’ll be responsible for establishing and overseeing the quality processes and strategies across the platform department. You will lead a team of QA professionals, develop and implement quality standards, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our products and processes, both pre and post-production.

Responsibilities

• Drive and promote QA automation standards and principles across the Platform department
• Set the technical/architectural tone and keep the pace for automation across different teams (Application, Infrastructure, and Data Engineering)
• Motivate your team members and lead by example, inviting interaction and providing constant, actionable feedback
• Provide technical guidance and support for existing automation solutions while striving for continuous improvement
• Build and implement software that considers Elementor’s future automation needs and addresses them as efficiently as possible
• Hire new team members and develop training programs to ensure quick and meaningful onboarding

Requirements

Leadership:

• 2+ years of management experience, including individuals, and project management
• A collaborator who is gifted at working with others and has excellent communication skills
• A team player with an “I can move mountains” attitude
• Boundless creativity and a bias-for-action management style

Tech Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing automation solutions
• Likes to be HO at least 50% of the time.
• An exceptional level of creativity!
• “Bias for action” management style
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with a natural talent for team interaction
• Strong technical skills including design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving
• Proven knowledge in the WEB field (HTML, CSS, browser debugging, API, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD and test-driven development
• Proven JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge - an advantage
