Senior Product Manager to Log Analytics- Azure Edge and Platform

Azure Monitor Logs (also known as Azure Log Analytics, part of Azure Monitor product), is a leading observability service. It is a hyper-scale multi-tenant SaaS service, serving hundreds of thousands of paying customers today enabling them to monitor and secure their infrastructure and apps. It is used by all kind of organizations, from small companies all the way to the largest enterprises. With innovative Big Data analytical engine at its core, Log Analytics enables customers to efficiently collect, aggregate and store petabytes of log data, while enabling them with a powerful insights through Kusto Query Language. Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and hands-on Product Manager who can thrive in a non-traditional, agile environment at the cutting-edge of the cloud monitoring and BigData analytics market. You will work closely with customers to identify and translate their pains and needs and will partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver best-in-class experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience in Program / Product Management with a strong track record of shipping products and services
• You have a passion for finding solutions to hard customers’ problems and building partnerships and teams to deliver these solutions to customers.
• Strong technical skills required including ability to perform data analysis, build demo labs and work with IT professionals.
• BA/BSc degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• You are a well-rounded PM demonstrating customer empathy, creativity, strong communication, and cross-group collaboration skills
• Prior experience in cloud, monitoring, Big Data analytics is highly desirable
• Hands on experience in data analysis and modeling, passion for data-driven decision making

Success in this position requires a broad set of experiences and skills, including excellence in core engineering, technical acumen, strong team and individual leadership skills.  Customer empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to rapid changes are required.  Fostering a strong working relationship with both local and remote teams is a must and cloud services experience is a definite plus.
