Genesys is a fast-growing company leading the customer experience domain. Genesys recently acquired Exceed.ai and looking to expand the team and add advanced AI for Sales and Marketing capabilities to the Genesys platform.

As Machine Learning Engineer in Genesys Digital Experience group (DX), you will join a top-notch team of data scientists and data analysts focusing on the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI services in a global deployment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where continuous change and innovation are certain. This is an opportunity to work on an AI product which makes a business impact to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Data Preprocessing: Develop data preprocessing pipelines to clean, transform, and prepare data for training and inference, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Model Development: Design, implement, and train machine learning models using various techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning (mostly NLP)
• AWS ML Infrastructure: Leverage AWS services and tools to build, deploy, and manage machine learning pipelines, data processing workflows, and model inference at scale.
• Architecture and Design: Designing and architecting applications and microservices in the AWS environment, using both serverless components (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) and traditional EC2 instances. Collaborating with the team to define the most suitable architecture, whether serverless, containerized, or EC2-based, based on the application's specific use cases and requirements.
  
  

What you will bring to the table:

• Degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Engineering or related field with a focus on applied statistics, AI, machine learning, or related fields.
• 3+ years industry experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with AWS services like SageMaker, Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.
• Deep understanding of machine learning libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows for applications deployed in various environments, such as serverless, containerized, and EC2-based setups.
• Demonstrated experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) would be an advantage.
