Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.
Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 70 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Growth team. We already have well over a million registered customers, and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.
So, what's the job?
We’re looking for an Office Manager to join our People Team. You’ll be crucial to creating Guardio’s culture and internal processes.
And what do you do all day?
- Be responsible for the day-to-day logistics and administration of the company office, including running the office, maintenance and repairs, supplies and food orders, etc.
- Liaise with external suppliers, including the cleaning crew, parking, office supplies, stationary, hardware, food, etc
- Plan, budget, and manage company activities, like team updates, fun days, holiday gifts, and so on
- Work with the finance team to ensure payments and transfers are made correctly and on time
- Be the main point of contact for team members' well-being
- Run onboarding & offboarding processes and schedules
- Run Guardio’s reception desk - welcoming team members, visitors, candidates, maintenance crews, food delivery, etc.
Sounds great! Am I the right fit?
Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience as an office manager/ employee experience specialist in a hi-tech company
- Strong project management skills, super organized, and excellent with the details
- You’re great at communicating and collaborating with everyone across the company. You thrive working in a start-up dynamic, and you’re more than ok with some serious context-switching. You’ll need to be friendly and patient and have the ability to stay calm and positive.
- You genuinely enjoy working with people, and you’re ok working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and finding solutions when the unexpected pops up.
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
