As the R&D Manager at TicTuk, you will be at the forefront of our technological advancements, overseeing and guiding a talented team of researchers, engineers, and developers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and technologies while ensuring that our R&D efforts align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the allocation of resources, including budgets, and personnel, to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of R&D initiatives.
• Plan, execute, and oversee research and development projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, Customer Success, and DevOps to ensure the company's vision is not only realized but upheld to the highest standards.
• Monitor the performance of production systems and continually seek ways to enhance quality and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of R&D activities and provide regular reports to senior management on project status, key performance indicators, and achievements.
• Develop and execute a forward-thinking R&D strategy that aligns with the company's long-term vision.
• Recruit, retain, and develop top talent within the R&D team. Conduct performance evaluations, set clear goals, and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.
  
  

Requirements:

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).

8+ years of experience with at least 4 years of managing multiple software development R&D teams, front-end and back-end engineers.

Ability to manage and prioritize missions across multiple projects.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills: Mentor other managers in the group, and develop them as leaders.

Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving organizational goals.

Strong capability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks across a range of concurrent projects.

Experience with cloud-based system building in a complex scale-oriented environment.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a hybrid mode, 4 days a week from our cozy office in Tel Aviv.
