Engineering Manager

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager lead the Engineering team and be a key member in our R&D and Engineering Division. In this position you will have an important part in building cutting-edge Fire Safety and Smart Building Management systems. You will work closely with the R&D team to lead company-wide NPI Engineering, mechanical engineering and design, plastic molds design and maintenance, as well as many other engineering-related efforts. This position includes both leadership skills and hands-on work.

Qualifications:

You have a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, and at least 10 years’ experience in:

· Hands-on mechanical design for mass production

· Experience in design rules for manufacturing by plastic injection, die casting and sheet metal

· Experience in technical design, process development and project management of mechanical design

· Proficient with SolidWorks and PDM

· Have a full understanding and up-to-date knowledge of the NPI process

· Working with sub-contractors. Technical decisions/guidance and flow down of projects requirements to Suppliers. These include (but not limited to); tool and fixture manufacturing designs, machining requirements, drawings, CAD models,

Contract/Condition of Supply requirements.

· Identify critical-paths, bottlenecks and implement risk management methodologies.

· Preparation of Control documents/work instructions and provide technical support to production

departments when necessary

· Proven experience in building and improving engineering processes.

· Experience in manufacturing environment essential

· Experience in solving technical issues after product release

· Ability to analyze engineering faults and in-depth understanding of the structure and design

considerations of the product, facilities and production systems

· Good understanding of electronics manufacturing guidelines, components and processes

· Proficiency in Priority software- advantage

· Proficiency in Altium software- advantage
