INGIMA Israel is hiring a System Admin in the SRE Linux team - an SRE team member and not DEVOPS

job description

· Membership in the SRE-Linux team which is a system team but much more than that.

· Performing System tasks including installing and upgrading operating systems (RedHat), API Mana

gement systems and Kubernetes. Performance improvement, troubleshooting, writing scripts, and more.

· Development of automation processes in the field of infrastructure in a Linux operating system environment. (Ansible, Terraform and more)

· Working in full cooperation with the system windows team, the information security team and the DevOps team.

Requirements:

Over two years of experience as a member of the system/SRE team in the field of Linux infrastructure. - Required

Knowledge and experience in setting up, maintaining and upgrading Linux servers RHEL 7/8, Ubuntu. - Required

Knowledge and experience working with the Ansible system and/or Kubernetes and/or Terraform - a significant advantage

Familiarity with Windows and VMware - an advantage.

Ability to lead infrastructure projects, including implementation and integration of computer systems in complex architecture environments.

Has the skills to work in a team alongside the ability to work and study independently.

Ability to work under pressure, while providing a professional and quick response.

High sense of service and excellent human relations.

Willingness to work hard (including performing shifts and being on call).

Morning shifts starting at 7:30. Evening duty until 18:00 (or later as needed). The frequency of shifts (morning and evening) about three - four times a week.
