Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Created in 2021, Fairgen is pioneering the creation of generative AI solutions for the polling industry. Founded by a team of data scientists, mathematicians, and engineers, its mission is to accelerate time-to-insights for consumer & market research professionals via a suite of deep machine-learning models capable of augmenting complex datasets and automating analysis. 

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer that will join our algorithmic innovation and development. You will arrive at an early-stage and shape the company’s tech stack and culture. You will design algorithms in the fields of generative modeling, conditional generation and unsupervised learning for applications on tabular & text data.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end research & development of Fairgen’s algorithms: design, iteration, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Ownership of code for data-related preprocessing and manipulation operations.
• Collaborate with the Fullstack team to integrate algorithmic features into the product.
• Design and run performance analyses to benchmark our products, including plots and reports.

Requirements

*Hard skills*

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on statistics.
• 5+ years of development experience in Python.
• Experience developing algorithms with ML libraries (PyTorch, Sklearn) and MLOps tools (Wandb, AWS).
• Proficiency with (at least some of): Numpy, Pandas, Plotly, Scipy, Streamlit, Quarto.
• Understanding of software development processes (agile methodology, roadmap building, code reviews, clean code, testing).
