Security Researcher

A leading IT security company specializing in cyber defense, safeguarding endpoints and IT environments within organizations, with a mission to detect, prevent, and neutralize advanced cyber threats (NGAV, EDR, XDR). The product includes a defense system that collects data from all endpoints in the organization and the IT environment, analyzing their actions.

This position provides an opportunity to build a product from scratch, enabling quick impact and bringing innovations to production rapidly. The company employs hundreds of employees, located near the train station in Tel Aviv, working in a hybrid and flexible environment.

In this position you will

Collaborate with the engineering, data science and product teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the existing detection engine.

Design and implement new features within our detection and correlation engine to address emerging cyber threats.

Conduct in-depth research on various threat landscapes. Utilize this knowledge to innovate and develop cutting-edge security solutions.

Design and implement new detection engines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these engines seamlessly into the XDR platform.

Foster a culture of collaboration within the XDR team and across other security teams. Share knowledge and mentor junior researchers to promote skill development.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in cybersecurity (threat detection engineering / pentesting / threat hunting / incident response / anomaly detection)
• Ability to collect, process, analyze, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights
• Experience creating and optimizing detections for cloud environments
• Knowledge of programming / scripting languages
• An excellent team player
• Managing multi-departmental interactions with cybersecurity professionals, engineering teams, and product managers
