Director of Finance

We are a global, fast-paced, and innovative start up with offices in Ramat Gan, London, and Grand Rapids (MI).

Our Finance team is growing, and we're on the hunt for a passionate and exceptional individual to take on the role of Director of Finance in our leadership team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead the company's finance team. You will be instrumental in all financial procedures, leveraging analytical thinking to offer valuable insights that guide decisions and suggest possible enhancements.

About The Role

• You will be responsible for all of the financial aspects of the company
• Oversee the Oktopost finance team, focusing on team development, guidance, education, and responsibility delegation
• Serve as a strong business partner for the customer-facing teams, manage communication channels, and policy updates
• Ensure continuous improvement of Oktopost financial processes for lead-to-cash processes
• Create simple, streamlined and scalable expense management and approval mechanisms
• Work with the revenue teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and revenue recognition
• Develop and improve financial and accounting systems and processes, using tech and controls for enhanced reporting efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with required financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• Possess a strong understanding of what makes a winning Finance team
• Outstanding ability to collaborate across departments and engage at multiple organizational tiers
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a high-tech (SAAS) organization
• At least 3 years in a leadership role
• CPA with Big 4 experience, high-tech industry, SAAS companies – an advantage
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP - an advantage
• Sense of urgency and a customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
• A proactive, positive, and hands-on methodology for addressing challenges and ad-hoc projects
• Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems - Priority/NetSuite and Salesforce
