Engineering Manager

Combining breakthrough computer vision and deep learning technologies with existing onboard sensors, the company enhances situational awareness of crews onboard, reduces sensory information overload and enables better navigation decisions. Data received from the ships is displayed on a dashboard in the office, giving fleet managers and ships owners visibility and actionable insights at both the ship and fleet levels, which enhance fleets' safety and reduce potential safety events.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a Backend oriented development team that creates a platform to be used by our customers globally.
• Create reusable components. Build working processes. Implement best-practices. Develop project infrastructure and client architecture.

You’ll do it using:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in startup environments
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• Experience in Python, Javascript, Docker, AWS-based systems, K8s, SQL and non SQL databases, messaging solutions
• Experience in developing a multi threading/tasking applications
• Experience designing scalable and highly available systems
• Experience in front-end development preferably Angular 2+Experience working in a CI/CD environment
• Experience developing AI driven products
