Test Engineer Student

Job DescriptionIntel’s VTG Test Engineering team is responsible for developing and maintaining the test programs that ensure the quality and integrity of our silicon products.From Silicon arrival to production, we use ATE (Automated Test Equipment) to test our products and ensure their compliance with product specifications, such as target frequency and temperature range.We apply knowledge both in hardware engineering and software development to create the most robust, efficient and accurate programs to verify that only fully functional units make it to our customers.What Will You Do

• Need to assist in the following ATE (Automated Test Equipment) activities:
• Coding and debug of test program procedures
• Test pattern conversion
• Integration and manipulation of existing test patterns
• Debug of test patterns on actual Silicon
• Analysis of test results
• Need to assist in Product Engineering activities:
• Manage inventory of tested material
• Manage test activity of bulk material and submit test jobs
• Apply statistical analysis tool (JUMP etc.) to provide yield data

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering student (3rd year student or later) with good grades
• Must have solid programming knowledge (C++/Java/VBA)
• Scripting knowledge (Perl/Python) is an advantage
• Experience with working with databases/Excel spreadsheets/SQL
• Proficient in English
