Material Project Manager - Temporary position for maternity leave

Summary

Material Project Manager plays a significant role in ensuring operational success for the procurement organization. In this role, you will be responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility.

This is a strategic supply chain role, interacting with our Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and internal core teams, encompassing critical component planning, allocation direction, supply flexibility modeling, and materials liability management.

Key Qualifications

3+ years of production projects and professional experience in complex supply chain

Problem-solving capability and influence others through relationships and data

Technical orientation preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required

Team player and communicator

Strong ability in task management, organizing, and maintaining large quantities of data

Description

Drive material for PCBA prototype production projects to meet Apple Israel’s R&D center projects’ milestones, while achieving aggressive order cycle-time goals and maximizing supply rate in higher quality possible

Cross-functional project management, from R&D through production functions

Identify problem areas, and drive appropriate functional groups to maintain best practices

Order booking, Invoicing actions, and meticulous data maintenance of production information through information systems

Present status updates on a weekly basis, and maintain and improve material allocations and supply chain processes
