R&D Automation engineer

We are looking for an R&D Automation engineer to join our growing team, lead us into Full CI/CD lifecycle development, and improve plainID End-2-End product features.

Our solution is based on Java (Test-Ng) and React, moving to SaaS with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture.

We are working in an Agile environment with a TDD approach and extreme programming processes to complete the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD.

About the position:

• As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the automation strategy and making it a reality.
• Developing and implementing automation infrastructure along with UI and API automated tests based on Java TestNG
• Work closely with QA, developers, and product management to understand the gaps and priorities.
• Being part of our product development cycle from design until release to production.
• Mentor and educate others on how to use the automation tools and how to write automation tests on their own.
• Team player, Independent, persistent, and a “getting things done” person - A must.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience building automation for SaaS systems (microservices architecture) using Java/Selenium implementation - A must.
• Experience in manual QA execution for web applications
• Experience with Java, Test-NG Framework
• Experience in CI/CD process and supporting tools (i.e. GitLab).
• Experience in writing test STD and STP documents
• Strong ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Experience in SQL Queries, and Postman.
• Experience with Jira
• Excellent English (reading and writing)
• Major Advantage - Knowledge / Experience with Playwright web automation framework
• Advantage - Background in Authorization and Authentication processes
• Advantage - Deep understanding of Cyber Security domain
