Senior Field Engineer

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.

Our Field team is growing, and we're looking for a strong team player to join us in a key role – Senior Field Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team's daily operations, with an emphasis on meeting goals, maintaining high quality, following procedures, and ensuring safety.
• Act as a full partner to the team leader in managing and coordinating activities, taking ownership of both routine and ad-hoc tasks.
• Serve as a technical focal point in the team – in system-level knowledge, hardware, training, and procedures.
• Manage and monitor all field activities: preparation, execution, documentation, and reporting.
• Ensure worker safety and strict adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain high execution quality across all tasks – identifying gaps and overseeing continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal interfaces – including work planning, logistics, scheduling, hardware, and peripheral readiness.
• Manage subcontractors – including coordination, contracts, procurement requirements, and expanding the supplier base.
• Oversee resources and equipment – ensuring availability, procurement, and maintenance.
• Lead training efforts – onboarding new team members and providing ongoing professional mentoring.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fieldwork/integration/system engineering
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex field operations
• Strong task management, prioritization, and teamwork skills; capable of managing multiple interfaces
• Broad thinking combined with a strong attention to detail
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities under pressure
• Willingness to work in the field – both in Israel and occasionally abroad
