Rapyd SMB organization is a start-up within a scale-up looking to build a sales machine to acquire and manage the majority of Rapyd’s fast-growing customer base. To do so, we require bright and agile individuals to help us build a plane while flying. Joining the SMB Sales team will allow you to take an active role in building the most exciting, fast-growing business in Fintech globally, and to impact how Rapyd’s product and customer experience are shaping. The Account Executive will prospect, develop, nurture, and push to close new businesses globally while delivering value to Rapyd’s new customers by offering unique payment solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify potential customers through research, networking, and lead-generation tools.
- Engage with prospects through activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach in order to ensure a robust and healthy pipeline.
- Manage sales opportunities with complex, tailored product solutions. Work in collaboration with Sales Engineers and other internal teams to advance opportunities toward a close.
- Develop, negotiate, pursue, and execute through to closing new business sales opportunities.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospects focusing on their international payment and payout business needs and strategic priorities
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
- Collect and track prospect requirements and feedback to proactively assist in Rapyd’s efforts to provide a better experience for our customer base
- Keep informed of product, competition, and industry trends that may impact client business activities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of on-quota, SaaS B2B sales experience in a highly competitive market.
- Hunter mentality with the innate drive to succeed
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a high-growth environment by closing new businesses.
- Experience in sourcing your own opportunities through outbound activity in parallel to managing a large opportunity volume.
- Ability to thrive in a startup organization environment that’s fast evolving
- Organized and process-oriented in approach and prioritization of targets & tasks – able to manage activities across the sales cycle and multiple opportunities
- Worked with multi-product offerings
- Leads by example with high energy, transparency, relationship management, and influencing skills
- Fluent English speaker. Additional European languages are a benefit
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Teamwork and an ability to work in a rapidly expanding, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
