Director of Finance

Our Finance team is expanding, and we are looking for a Director of Finance to join our world-class team.

This is a hands-on role, in which you will serve as a strategic thought partner to the company's finance team. You will play a key role in the Billing and Revenues process, while applying an analytical approach and providing actionable insights for decision making and potential improvements.

About The Role

• Manage a global team of billing specialists and controllers, including team building, mentoring, training and assignment prioritization.
• Act as a strong business partner for the customer-facing teams, manage communication channels, policy updates and support new business initiatives.
• Serve as a finance focal point to various order to cash initiatives and related operational processes.
• Drive initiatives to continuously improve and simplify billing processes, deals review, data flows and integrations, while partnering closely with other departments.
• Manage the review and approval process of complex deals to insure compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
• Maintain policy manuals and protocols for the billing and revenues team, providing clarity on processes and expectations.
• Implement and improve financial and accounting systems and processes, using tech and BI tools and controls for enhanced reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Insure compliance with SOX policies and procedures
  
  

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a high-tech (SAAS) organization
• 5 years of managerial experience
• CPA with Big 4 experience, high-tech industry, SAAS companies – a big advantage
• Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 in specific - a big advantage
• Proven managerial and leadership experience.
• Sense of urgency and customer-oriented mind set.
• Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
• Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company.
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Priority/NetSuite and Salesforce
• Initiate and lead ad hoc projects
