Postdoctoral Researcher

A postdoctoral candidate is sought with demonstrated experience in cell biology, neuroscience, and electrophysiology. The candidate is expected to continue our work on high-precision stimulation of the intact retina. Knowledge of biology, imaging, electrophysiology, and molecular biology is essential.

Job Duties

• Performs patch clamp in ex-vivo and intact retina and other preparations.
• Develop stimulation paradigm in ex-vivo and intact retina and other preparations
• Analysis of single and multi-electrode recordings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a proven record of research accomplishments, have expertise in working with retina models, and a strong background in electrophysiology.
